TAGG'D

Sun Dec 6, 2009, 2:15 PM
I don't usually do these things, but what the hey. :]

Tagg'd by :iconkangetsu123:

--

1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person must post 10 things about themselves on their journal.
3. ((At the end, you have to choose and tag 10 people and post their icons on the same journal.) I don't wanna tag ten. Not that many people would respond.) I'm not tagging 10 either.. >:[
4. Go to their pages and send a message saying you tagged them.
5. No tag-backs.

1. I wish everyone spoke like they were in the 1940s. But that's just dropping the other shoe, isn't it.
2. Shakespeare at 3am is my idea of a good time. :] I adore radioplays and mime along to the bits I can remember.
3. My favourite animal is the European magpie! They're pretty. <3
4. Writing journals make me feel horribly egotistical. It feels like I'm saying 'LOOK AT ME AND BE INTERESTED IN MY LIFE, POTENTIALLY RANDOM ONLOOKER!'. SO WHY AM I DOING THIS MEME.
5. When I walk from A to B, I do an inner monologue like I'm in a film noir. Especially if it's raining.
6. I get freaked out by grape stalks and I do not know why.
7. I don't update my webcomic as often as I should... And this makes me feel guilty.
8. I mostly wear black, not because it represents my heart of bleeding angst, because it goes with everything and requires no forethought in the morning.
9. Most weeks I use up a 40-page sketchpad. It's usually 80% scrappy doodles, and it's an expensive habit.
10. If you peel open that tube-shaped pasta right, I think it looks kinda like a wolf head. THREE PASTA MOON.

Wild Journal Update appeared!

Mon Oct 5, 2009, 2:47 AM
I'm reading Moby-Dick! This line amuses me waaay too much:

"Why it is that all Merchant-seamen, and also all Pirates and Man-of-War's men, and Slave-ship sailors, cherish such a scornful feeling towards Whale-ships; this is a question it would be hard to answer. Because, in the case of pirates, say, I should like to know whether that profession of theirs has any peculiar glory about it. It sometimes ends in uncommon elevation, indeed; but only at the gallows. And besides, when a man is elevated in that odd fashion, he has no proper foundation for his superior altitude. Hence, I conclude, that in boasting himself to be high lifted above a whaleman, in that assertion the pirate has no solid basis to stand on."

I also only just realised that the phrase 'thaaar she blows' refers to whales. NOW IT MAKES SENSE.

Anyway. Yes. Uni has begun again with its usual chaos and disarray and 9am starts. Today it's raining, that kind of blustery autumn drizzle that makes you feel universally cold, and soggy rather than wet. I love how many words the English language has for being damp.

Soggy, wet, damp, moist, soaked, drenched, saturated, dank, sodden, sultry, waterlogged...

Art trade me!

Sun Jun 14, 2009, 12:54 PM
Anyone want an art trade? :] For the next two days I have absolutely nothing to do as I happen to find myself in the unhappy posession of a broken computer till I can get the thing fixed on Tuesday. I also seemingly have NO INSPIRATION WHATSOEVER for my own stuff. Which is really quite annoying. But not as annoying as not having access to my precious data for a few days. I crave it so. Information is more precious than blood. A few days without it leaves me lightheaded and pale.

So creepy knowledge vampire habits aside, anyone want art? I don't really mind what standard yours is, just if you've got interesting characters and the like. :] If you don't have time to do proper drawings, I love doing sketch trades too. If your life is a blurry rush of commitments and responsibilities, I'm also happy to exchange hurried napkin scribbles.

How's everyone's summer going, anyway?

It's that time again!

Fri May 29, 2009, 3:05 AM
And the exams are officially over! And I'm pleased to announce that there were only two grammatical errors on the last paper! PCS had three grammar mistakes, and the Maths one was covered in Arabic where there should have been numbers, and just occassionally sines where there should have been cosines. I suppose it ought to be sineposted, and I suppose I ought to be shot for crimes against wit.

Summary to British instinct, I'm now going to talk about the weather. Right now, it's probably sunny enough make solar-powered nuclear fusion and start competing with the sun itself. The sky gives me retina burn, but somehow everything's reflecting white to the point where it actually almost looks cold out. Hmm, there must be planets with stars close or bright enough that they're visible all the time during the day. That's a nice thought.

Anyway! I'm gonna go play videogames and block out the fact I've got a handin next week! :D Shall be uploading a bunch either today or tomorrow, I dare say. Ciao!

Journal Journal Journal

Wed Feb 11, 2009, 3:09 PM
Well, the new year's come and gone (a while ago now, but I'm rather slow on the uptake) and I've almost stopped writing 2008. It's been a while since I've uploaded much (till now) or particularly shifted the dust on this ol' place, but meanwhile Subterforge has been thriving beautifully and is now nearing its third (okay, fifth, if you count properly) chapter and 100th page. It's been over a year and a half! Well, it's important to -me-, anyway. I know you guys would really just like more ZOMBIE BEES.

And maybe you will get them. Maybe.

But first I'd like to hear someone play Flight of the Bumblezombee. 'Cause that'd be epic.

Mazeburn out!
